Eddie Chang MD FAAP
Dr. Chang is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and completed medical school at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. After medical school, he pursued General Pediatrics residency training at New York University Medical Center and went on to Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship training at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Additionally, Dr. Chang holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Healthcare, Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Chang has served as Secretary of the Philadelphia Perinatal Society and was a recipient of the Thomas Boggs Award for Perinatal Research. Finally, he is a recipient of the Partners in Excellence Award from Abington Hospital as well as the Innovator's Circle Grant for research. Named a Philadelphia Top Doctor since 2017, Dr. Chang is currently the Chief of Neonatology at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health.
Dr. Chang's interests include family-centered newborn care, newborn brain injury prevention, pulmonary hypertension, newborn critical care, and optimizing healthcare quality and value.
