Kathryn Ziegler DO FAAP

Dr. Ziegler is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.  Dr. Ziegler was born and raised in Montgomery County, PA.  She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she was a Division I athlete.  She then went on to complete medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Ziegler received both her General Pediatric and Neonatology training at Thomas Jefferson University and AI Dupont Hospital for Children.  Moreover, she was a finalist for the Thomas Boggs Award for Perinatal Research. 

In addition to being an Attending Neonatologist, she is currently the Co-Director of the Neonatal Therapeutic Hypothermia Program for Neonatal Encephalopathy at Abington.  Dr. Ziegler's other interests include patient safety and quality improvement specifically in the area of neonatal abstinence syndrome.
